Role Description: We are actively seeking a Healthcare HIT Sales/Business Development Director local to the Charlotte, NC area. 50% travel required.  MUST be a Sales Hunter. New Business Development is the number one goal in this role. Excellent opportunity to work Remotely in Healthcare Management Consulting and Advisory Services, while partnering and collaborating with Divurgent Healthcare Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Leaders to deliver effective client solutions. This is a business development, sales position. MUST HAVE HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED!  EMR (Epic & Cerner) expertise preferred. 
Responsibilities Include:
  • Responsible for new business development and revenue generation within an assigned territory, clients and practice
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding defined sales quota on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Responsible for the execution of the entire client development cycle
  • Initiate contact with appropriate client representatives in assigned target territory or practice to build relationships and Divurgent brand awareness
  • Execute face to face meetings with targets to introduce Divurgent services and identify current and future needs
  • Effectively communicate client needs and solutions in a manner which is understandable to the client
  • Coordinate the RFP response process with all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Direct pre-engagement meetings to develop project scope, deliverables, and plan
  • Work with Client Services Vice Presidents and Practice Leaders to scope engagements, develop work programs and fee estimates, and propose on consulting engagements
  • Partner with recruiting team to identify exceptional resources and match them with client opportunities
  • Liaise between Divurgent and the clients for up-to-date condition on costs and assistance
  • Ongoing client follow up, including project tracking and documentation
  • Utilize Divurgent’s customer relationship management (CRM) system as required
  • Maintain 100% client satisfaction
  • Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, understanding, and courtesy to represent the organization in a good reputation
  • Effectively join conventions and industry events to build Divurgent brand awareness within assigned territory or practice

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • C-Suite Healthcare Business Development experience required
  • At least 2-3 years outside sales experience required. Consideration will be given to management consultant with consultative selling understanding
  • Relevant Healthcare knowledge required; experience working with and/or for consulting organizations preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate understanding of the entire business lifecycle of selling services
  • Capable of preserving private or sensitive details
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills
  • Effective efficient time control planning, organization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Special manners to cope with clients and a confident individuality
  • Excellent use of MSOffice tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
