We are actively hiring a Cerner Ambulatory & PowerChart Build Technical Analyst will be responsible for the Cerner PowerChart technical build.
This includes system design, incorporating stakeholder input, documentation, build, testing and go live support also is responsible for communicating, collaborating and working to design and customize Client’s new or updated computer systems. The Analyst will support specific Cerner software services and Integration effort. The Analyst will communicate with and support Internal and External Client's/vendor on a day-to-day basis. The analyst end goal is to support Client's through Cerner upgrades, system changes and enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance, which can include system testing, troubleshooting, issue management, training and go-lives.
Maintain, design, build, implementation and of clinical decision support, rules, and alerts
Maintain, design, build, implementation and maintenance of Cerner CPOE/Orders, PowerPlans, Mpages, Maintain, design, build, implementation of Dynamic Documentation and mPages
Maintain, design, build, implementation of interfaces for data exchange and data mapping.
Meet with stakeholders to complete design and validation
Support Integration testing, project management duties, downtimes and go lives
Partner with training team and local clinical informatics teams and documentation team
Work and Coordinate with Cerner Client and Application vendor to improvise and implement process.
Understand the application being integrated and implemented with Cerner to support rollouts and training.
Demonstrates advanced Ambulatory workflow (Provider, Nursing, Front Office, Coder, and Ancillary staff, including lab, radiology, medication administration, ePrescribe, and other Orders workflows) and solution knowledge, in accordance with Cerner standards.
Drives development of future state workflows leveraging Cerner’s standards
Educates the Client on design recommendations and configuration tasks to ensure their understanding and knowledge of maintaining ambulatory workflows and content long term.
Provides implementation process leadership for Client work groups.
Consults with Client service line/department project teams (lab, radiology, Pharmacy) to gain agreement on benefit opportunities.
Develops Client associate domain expertise (clinical, revenue and operational) and consulting skills in working with their providers and end users.
Consults around Key Performance Indicators for the Ambulatory venue (Provider Volumes, Clinic cycle times (throughput measurement), patient wait times, etc.).
Must be able to lead design sessions in front of small to large groups at Client sites and coordinate the project with application vendor.
