Role Responsibilities:
- The Credentialed Trainer is responsible for delivering classroom instruction for physicians, clinicians, and non-clinical staff to develop competence in the use of clinical and business information systems and other computer software applications for various clinical areas within the hospital and clinics.
-Assist in creation and validation of training tools which support the education of system users, and in measuring user competency as well as effectiveness of the training program.
-Develop in-depth knowledge of workflow design and processes, and the important system functionality supporting the workflows.
-Successfully obtain and maintain "Credentialed" level of expertise in Epic based presentation(s) and competency exam(s).
-Provides technical training and support to end users during rollout of the Epic system/application

Required Qualifications:
-This position requires successful completion of the six week Epic credentialing process training program on the application(s), to include teach back methodology, successful completion of a teaching presentation before a panel, and successful completion of a Credentialing exam on first attempt.
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience training program design, delivery, and facilitation
-Previous credentialing in one or more Epic applications
-Ability to motivate and present enthusiasm regarding new functionality and system implementations
-Excellent presentation skills
-Ability to effectively communicate to a wide audience

Abilities/Other:
-Prolonged use of computers requires visual acuity
-Ability to stand/walk for sustained periods of time, and the ability to move from one work site to another

- Extensive Epic experience is required – any module(s) is fine including clinical and revenue cycle modules.
- Experience creating eLearning pieces for Epic is highly desired
- Captivate experience is required. Experience on Captivate version 7, 8, or 9 is strongly preferred, experience on an earlier version might work as well. Project is utilizing v9 currently.
